Hi,

Thanks for visiting my blog and viewing my football shirt collection.  I've bought football shirts since the mid '80's, but it's only in the last couple of years that I've started to concentrate my efforts on trying to obtain the national football shirts of the 208 FIFA members and 'nations' that are trying to become recognised in their own right.  I've been captivated by the national game since watching my first World Cup in 1982 and the beautiful interpretation of the game played out by Zico, Socrates, Eder, Falcao, Junior and the other great Brazilians of the era.

My collection to date has enabled me to make new friends around the world from the US to Botswana and Germany to Japan.  There are many others that have assisted me in my efforts and my thanks goes out to all of you.  The collection will ultimately go to my wonderful little boy who is enjoying receiving the shirts from around the world and learning about the countries they come from.
